NAD Launches D 3020 V2 With Advanced Digital and Analog Engineering for Less
NAD is pleased to announce the new and improved D 3020 V2 Hybrid Digital Amplifier, as well as a lower price. The company’s best-selling amplifier has been updated with cosmetic refinements including a new, easy-to-read display and by popular request, the addition of a Moving Magnet phono input and Preamp output. NAD engineers designed the phono stage for the highest possible performance, featuring accurate RIAA equalization, ultra-low noise and an infrasonic warp filter. The D 3020 V2 is available for immediate delivery at MSRP$399, $100 lower than its predecessor.
Originally introduced in 2013, the D 3020 represented a bold step forward in digital music reproduction and the D 3020 V2 takes that even further. The D 3020 V2 accommodates inputs for your digital and analog sources, including the newly added MM phono input. Coaxial and optical inputs allow many different digital sources to be connected including computers, CD and DVD disc players and set top boxes like AppleTV or satellite and cable receivers. There are also analog inputs for iPods and older non-digital audio components such as FM tuners. New to the D 3020 V2 also features a full-range preamp output for added connection flexibility. NAD also includes a premium quality headphone amplifier output that includes a high-quality volume control.
The D 3020 V2, with its wireless Bluetooth capability, can stream music from smartphones, tablets and laptops and even supports the higher audio quality Bluetooth codec, aptX, for CD quality performance and low power consumption compared to Wi-Fi.
The D 3020 V2 features 30W x 2 Continuous Power into 8 or 4 Ohms with NAD’s renowned HybridDigital amplifier design providing a deep reservoir of power that allows for massive power output with nearly immeasurable distortion and noise in the audible range.
