Wireless Music Playback from Smartphones and Tablets via Bluetooth®

The SL-D930 allows you to playback music files wirelessly from your Smartphones or Tablets via Bluetooth connection, so that you can continuously enjoy music with the SL-D930, when you come back to your home from office, school or shopping.
Up to 8 Bluetooth devices can be memorized by PAIRING which is a method to establish connection between two devices wirelessly. Once you paired your Smartphone or Tablet to the SL-D930, you can connect again with a touch of button.

CD Player supports MP3/WMA files on CD-R/RW, as well as conventional Audio CD.

The SL-D930 also employs a top-loading CD player that plays back conventional audio CD (CD-DA), as well as MP3/WMA formats on CD-R/RW discs, supporting versatile playback modes – up to 32 tracks program play, repeat play (1/All for CD, 1/All/Folder for MP3/WMA), shuffle play, and intro play.
With MP3/WMA files, file information* such as song title, artist name, and album name can be displayed on the LC-Display.

* 2-byte characters are not supported to display.

Retro-cool design that matches Vintage Furniture

Design ideas from the SL-D930 are inspired from 1950s American Classic Cars, — streamlined shape, and shinning chrome trims. Not only with mid-century furniture from 50s, the SL-D930 matches with contemporary furniture as well, to stand out its pop design. 
Exterior color is available from 4 colors, red, black, white and silver. The self-standing color-keyed remote control that corresponds main unit's color equips frequent-used keys such as Bluetooth Paring and Sleep Timer, as well as volume control and CD/Tuner operation. 

PLL Synthesized AM/FM Stereo Tuner

PLL synthesized AM/FM stereo tuner is employed, with up to 20AM + 20FM station memory, and auto/manual tuning. On the UK/EUR models, RDS PS/PTY/RT/CT functions are available.

On/Off Timer with Snooze and Sleep Timer, for daily-use

The SL-D930 also employs On/Off Timer which is suitable for a personal audio. The On/Off Timer wakes the unit up at the desired time, with specified audio source and specified volume level, and goes to Standby when Off Time comes. Snooze function repeats alarm 5 minutes later. The SL-D930 also equips sleep timer up to 90 minutes. This is an ideal product for bed-side clock, as the LC-display with 2-step dimmer shows digital clock even the SL-D930 is in standby mode.

2.1ch Speaker System with Bass-reflex type built-in down-fire Subwoofer

The SL-D930 employs TEAC's legendary 2.1ch speaker system that achieves stunning hi-fi sound and changes your thoughts on compact audio unit. A combination of 65mm (2.5") speaker units for front, and 80mm (3.2") for down-fire Subwoofer generates full-bodied sound with low gravity. In spite of its size of the unit, you will enjoy wide-spread sound wherever you are in a room.

Individual Speaker Chambers for Front Speakers and Subwoofer

The SL-D930 employs individual closed type chambers for Front speakers and Bass-reflex type chamber for down-fire Subwoofer. Each chamber is robust and independent from others, in order to achieve pure and three dimensional sound by eliminating interference from others. A 1.6 liter (approximately 100 cubic inch) chamber for subwoofer is particular, it generates rich bass sound with its extra-thick ABS plastic enclosure that endures hard vibration which is generated by subwoofer itself. These hidden but courteous design and build let you enjoy stunning bass sound.

High performance and high output power Class-D amplifier
Thanks to newly designed Class-D amplifier, it performs stunning sound with high energy-efficient drive that matches environmental concern in today. Of course, sound quality is not sacrificed to achieve low power consumption.

Adjustable Subwoofer level

A Subwoofer level control allows users to adjust bass sound level as required. With minimum subwoofer level, the sound from subwoofer will be cancelled, which is suitable for late-night listening.
